Terms & Conditions For Booking Kashmir Tour Packages

Booking

On receipt of the booking form, a confirmation invoice will be forwarded to you, accommodation and all other arrangements for your holiday are confirmed. Than a contract between you and Pala Holidays is established. A contract exists between us when a confirmation invoice is issued. If a particular hotel or similar is not available we will offer a suitable alternative. If the alternative offered by us is not of an acceptable standard, we will return the deposit and no booking will arise. And contract automatically gets wiped off. A minimum of 30% of the package amount is to be paid in advance as booking confirmation deposit.

Payments

Payment for the holiday is due 02 weeks prior to your arrival in Jammu & Kashmir. If the payment is not received by the due date we may treat the booking as cancelled. We will retain your deposit. If you have booked your holiday within 03 weeks of the date of departure, the total cost of the holiday will be payable at the time of booking. hotels require a full payment to confirm accommodation. In such cases we will notify you and ask for a deposit payment for those hotels.

Changes or Cancellation

In very rare cases we might need to change your holiday programme due to unforeseen conditions, Occasionally, we may have to make changes and we reserve the right to do so at any time. Most of these changes will be minor and we will advise you them at the earliest possible date. We also reserve the right in any circumstances to cancel your holiday arrangements. If it is necessary to cancel your travel arrangements, we will pay to you compensation. If we make a major change to your holiday, we will inform you as soon as possible if there is time before your arrival in Jammu & Kashmir. You will have the choice of either accepting the change of arrangements, accepting an offer of alternative travel arrangements of comparable standard from us if available (we will refund any price difference if the alternative is of a lower value), or canceling your booked holiday and receiving a full refund.

If We Cancel Your Booking

Before 12 days prior to the departure date, Deposits only.
Before 7 days prior to the departure date, 100% of the Holiday Cost.
Before 4 days prior to the departure date, 100% of the Holiday Cost + 1.25% of Holiday Cost.
Before 2 days prior to the departure date, 100% of the Holiday Cost + 3.50% of Holiday Cost.
If You Cancel Your Booking

From the booking date till 9 days prior to the departure date, 30 % of the package cost is chargeable.
From 5 days to 9 days prior to the departure date, 50 % of the package cost is chargeable.
From 3 days to 5 days prior to departure date, 75 % of the package cost is chargeable.
For cancellations made within 3 days prior to the departure date, 100% of the package cost is chargeable.

Compensation

The compensation that we offer does not exclude you from claiming more if you are entitled to do so. Force Majeure: This means that we will not pay you compensation if we have to cancel or change your travel arrangements in any way because of unusual or unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control. These can include, for example, war, riot, industrial dispute, terrorist activity and its consequences, natural disaster, fire, adverse weather conditions. If you wish to amend a booked holiday, an amendment fee of Rs.750.00 will apply for each amendment. Any additional costs incurred for amendment of arrangements will also be payable.

Any Taxes levied by State Govt.
Any kind of Insurance
Airfare

Complaints

If you have a complaint on any of the services provided by us within the terms of the contract, initially inform your local guide or representative, who will do all possible to resolve the problem. Should the complaint be of a serious nature please contact our Office (address will be on service voucher). Any expenses incurred on telephone / facsimile or telex from will be refunded against production of the proper receipt of such charges.
