Day 02 | Gulmarg

After Breakfast drop to Skiing Ground go for Skiing, enjoy a Cable Car ride, which is also known as Gondola Lift/Ride (1 km west of Gulmarg’s bus stand). Jammu and Kashmir State Cable Car Corporations manage the Gulmarg Cable Car ride. The ride is divided into two sections – Gulmarg to Kongdori and Kongdori to afferwat. The majestic view of the lush green hilly terrains and the panoramic views of the picturesque surroundings offer the greatest experience for a tourist while enjoying the cable car ride. How to Reach Gulmarg

By air, Gulmarg can be reached by the well-connected international Srinagar Airport, which is present at a distance of about 50 kilometers away. Gulmarg has a good road network, and is easily accessible through the neighboring cities via buses. Driving through the hairpin bends of the region is also a fun activity which is carried out by visitors. Gulmarg does not have its own railway network, with the nearest railway station being present in Jammu, which is at a distance of about 300 kilometers away.

Alphather Lake The beautiful Alphather Lake is located about 13 km away from Gulmarg and surrounded by the snow-capped hills of the Apharwat range.
